For us, 2025 was a year of transition.

We fondly called it our “Year Without A Production” and connected with the Twin Cities at large through a series of workshop offerings and an inaugural fundraising event.

We now have an ambitious 2026 season in the oven: workshop productions of two new original works and an adaptation of a classic. Watch this space for more information: auditions are in April, and our first performance will be at the end of June!

The Birth Play Project is a Minneapolis-based company of theatre artists.

The BPP began as a site of artistic research in 2020. Since then, we have grown into a thriving community of artists guided by the principles of reproductive justice.
