About the Workshop:
Based on the Knight-Thompson Speechwork approach to actor training, Twin Cities dialect coach and BPP Associate Artist Gillian Constable leads a series of three cumulative workshops focused on understanding what accents are and the skills needed to develop them. With a blend of discussion, exercises, and context-building, participants will walk away with an understanding of the muscles that shape speech, the patterns that make up accents, and the tools they need to adopt any accent.

sliding scale PAYMENT:
Payment will go directly to Gillian via Venmo (@Gillian-Constable-1) on the following sliding scale (choose either of these options, or anything in between). If payment is a barrier for you and/or you need another payment method option, please email us at birthplayproject@gmail.com and we will work out a plan.
Suggested: $25 for a single session, $60 for all three
Minimum: $10 for a single session, $30 for all three
Payment is due at or before the start time of each workshop, so you can choose to pay right after filling out this form or wait until the day of. You can also always choose to "tip" Gillian later!
